To make sure your products look their best as long as possible, follow our helpful care instructions below. When you take care of your dog-wear items, as you would your own things, they will last longer and you can enjoy your Minla goods for longer.

You don’t need to nor should you wash your Minla items after every walk, but it's important to keep them clean of sand so that especially the hardware functions without issues. Wipe down your items with a damp towel and give them a gentle shake to remove any dirt or sand. Even when you don't wash the products, dry them if they get wet to avoid any stuffy odours. Spot on parasite or other medical treatments should not come into contact with our products unless completely dry or they can cause permanent staining.

When you need to wash your items, hand wash them and do not wash in the washing machine. Avoid leaving to soak for a long time. If necessary, you can use a mild soap with no harsh rubbing. We recommend using fragrance-free and gentle soap to avoid harsh chemicals that could irritate your dog after washing or even cause issues to the fabrics and colours. Rinse thoroughly to remove any soap residues. Always rinse any sand, mud or saltwater off the hardware.

Dry carefully all hardware immediately after washing. Do not iron or tumble dry. You can pat dry the product with a towel or just leave to air dry. You can dry them indoors or outdoors, but choose somewhere shady to avoid direct sunlight. Make sure products are completely dry before storing them.
